The façade of Griya Karya Purwakarta is thoughtfully crafted to balance aesthetics and functionality. Commissioned by KAI Commuter Indonesia (KCI), the project features a distinctive laser-cut ACP sun shading system, designed to reduce solar heat—particularly on the west-facing side—while enhancing thermal comfort and energy efficiency. A refined palette of grey and white offers a clean, elegant appearance, complemented by vertical red accents that echo the KAI brand and reinforce its visual identity.
Designed by AIM, the architecture reflects a modern approach that unites form, sustainability, and purpose. Through the smart integration of shading elements, harmonious color choices, and bold visual rhythm, the result is a building that is both visually striking and environmentally responsive—bringing renewed character and comfort to the station area.
