The Purwakarta Station Hall Development Project by KAI Commuter (KCI) is intended to separate the flow of intercity train passengers from local train passengers, creating a smoother and more organized travel experience. Located adjacent to the existing heritage station hall, the new hall will share certain facilities with the main building while respecting and complementing its historic character.
Designed by AIM with a contemporary architectural approach, the new hall will enhance passenger circulation and overall comfort. Wide roof and canopy structures will provide better shelter from the elements, while the modern design will harmonize with the heritage hall, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic continuity for the station’s future.
